From Excavation to First Swim Fully Managed

Pool installation in Ocala covers more moving parts than most homeowners expect. Here’s what’s included under every pool contract:

Custom Pool Design:

We work with you to finalize shape, depth, and configuration based on your lot, your budget, and how you plan to use the space.

Permitting:

All permits are pulled and managed by our team. We are familiar with Marion County requirements and handle the process on your behalf.

Excavation & Site Prep:

Precise excavation to your approved design. The site is graded and prepared for shell installation.

Gunite Shell:

Structural gunite construction to engineering specifications. Inspected before plumbing and equipment installation begins.

Plumbing & Equipment:

Circulation, filtration, heating, and lighting systems installed and tested by licensed trades we manage directly.

Interior Finish:

Plaster, pebble, or tile finish applied per your selection. Surface is cured and balanced before handover.

Pool Deck & Coping:

Concrete, paver, or travertine decking and coping installed to match your design selections and complement your home's exterior.

Screening & Enclosures:

Screen enclosures and covered lanai structures built and permitted as part of the pool package, where included in scope.

Final Inspection & Startup:

Equipment is tested, water is balanced, and the pool is handed over with full documentation on your system and maintenance requirements.

Why a Systems-Driven Builder Makes All the Difference

Pool builders in Ocala, FL, range widely in how they operate. The difference at CBI Contracting isn’t the equipment we use; it’s the process behind every decision.

Combined home and pool builds under one contract

If you’re building a new home and a pool together, we coordinate both scopes so the schedule and budget stay aligned.

Fixed pricing before excavation begins

Your pool cost is fully itemized before we break ground. No allowances that balloon at selection time.

Licensed trades managed by us

Plumbing, electrical, and equipment installation are handled by vetted subcontractors we oversee directly; you don’t manage them, we do.

Inspection-ready at every phase

We don’t move to the next phase until the current one passes. Gunite is inspected before plumbing goes in. Equipment is tested before handover.

Transparent Investment for Exceptional Results

Every pool project is unique, with pricing based on design complexity, materials, features, and site conditions. Our structured tiers provide clear starting points while allowing flexibility for customization, ensuring confident decisions and controlled investment.

What to Know Before You Build a Pool

Pool cost depends on size, shape, finish selections, deck material, and whether a screen enclosure is included. A standard gunite pool with basic decking runs differently from a custom design with premium finishes and a full enclosure. We price every pool with a full line-item estimate so you know exactly what you're approving before any work begins.

Most pool builds run 3–5 months from permit approval to final inspection. Custom shapes, screen enclosures, and combined home-and-pool builds affect the timeline.

Pool construction involves heavy equipment, excavation, and active trades on your property for several months. We plan the site access and staging to minimize impact on your yard and landscaping where possible. For homeowners building a pool alongside a new home, the schedules are coordinated so that pool and home construction don't compete for the same access to the site.

We build the full pool structure, plumbing, equipment, interior finish, decking, coping, and screen enclosures, where included in scope. Landscaping around the pool area and pool furniture are not included in our contract.
